So as far as restorative dentistry, there's a big spectrum of what we can do, from the simplest filling to, I guess, more complexed cases. Sometimes we'll have two or three-year-olds with 20 cavities on 20 teeth. In that situation, we have the option of putting them to sleep to get that done. The treatment would range anywhere from just white fillings, to crowns, and to restore that smile for them. Other options, restorative wise, sometimes you'll have a kid that has some kind of dental trauma or had to have a tooth pulled out early because of infection. We have cosmetic things we can do. Sometimes we'll put a—if they're missing a front tooth, we can put in a pedo partial. It's a little partial that's glued in there, it has a little fake tooth on there. That way, they don't have to go to school with missing a tooth and feel out of place with their classmates. For older kids that are missing teeth and stuff like that, we can address that with kind of a similar type thing until they're old enough for an implant.

Tooth-Colored Fillings Repair Cavities Without Metal
If your child has a cavity, we will use our state-of-the-art Solea CO2 dental laser to painlessly numb the tooth and remove decay at the same time. No shots required! We will then restore the tooth with a tooth-colored filling that will blend in naturally with their other teeth.
Your child won’t have the embarrassment of a silver filling showing whenever they grin. As a parent, you’ll feel good knowing that their smile looks as natural as it can.
Save Your Child’s Tooth With Root Canal Treatment or Pulpotomy
If tooth decay has infected the soft tissue inside your child’s tooth, we can perform root canal therapy to gently remove the infection and save the tooth.
If your little one’s baby teeth become diseased, we may be able to remove the infected pulp with a pulpotomy, which is typically a less expensive and faster alternative to a root canal.
We may also cap the tooth with a beautiful, metal-free dental crown to strengthen and protect it.
Dental Crowns & Dental Bridges Restore Confidence
If your child has one or multiple adjacent missing teeth, we can fill the gaps in their smile with a dental bridge. We can also use a same-day zirconia crown to cover and repair teeth that are:
- Worn down
We’ll make your child’s new crown right here in our office. You won’t have to wait weeks for it to be made in a lab and then shipped in. Their smile can be whole again in one easy appointment!
Replace Your Child’s Missing Teeth With Dental Implants
At Dentistry for Children, we can place sturdy dental implants and restore them with crowns or bridges. We can even place them immediately following a tooth extraction.
Dental implants fuse with the jawbone and provide almost all the chewing power as your child’s natural teeth. Implants also stimulate the bone, helping keep it healthy. Your child will be able to brush, chew, and speak normally. No one will know they have a replacement tooth!
